Let's be honest... there was 'suddenly' a desperate NEED to stop the march. Whether that was because (enter a reason of your choice), who can say, but it was enough of a 'need' to go way off the deep end trying to deliver it, sadly. No doubt someone will come up with a perfectly innocent explanation eventually...

I have also been told this. Maybe even from the same 'source'? Interestingly, I heard this 2 or 3 days before the shit hit the fan.
If this is true, and I believe it is, I don't blame Swallow for backing out. There's being able to have a tear-up and then there's having aggro with this fella.
As much you might argue otherwise, there aren't too many people out there who wouldn't do what Swallow has done. I'm sorry, but there are more important things in life.
We can't even blame the fella who has allegedly put the pressure on Swallow. At the end of the day, he's been paid to do that. Immoral and nasty perhaps but he hasn't done it off his own back.
However, the world (i.e. the British media) needs to be made aware of this accusation. I firmly believe that a good investigative journalist would find out exactly why someone with the reputation of AS suddenly called off a march that he initiated. And I believe the resulting bombshell would be so big that it would signal the end of that scumbag Sullivan.
